Jockey life seems crummy

I will preface this by saying, I'm not an expert. However, I remember when I was a kid 1 of those news, magazine shows, 60 Minutes or something. Had a big story about how terrible life is for horse jockeys. First of all, you think, uh, the amount of weight that goes on a spaceship by NASA is highly regulated. The amount of weight that goes on a racehorse is much more highly regulated. Those jockeys have to maintain a very specific weight down within like a few ounces and so they have all kinds of Eating Disorders. If they do anything wrong, they fall off and they're like paralyzed a few jockeys die each year. Like it's just kind of a crummy lifestyle because they really have to be like careful of everything and everything's awful and I don't know, it doesn't pay all that great either unless you win and that's not necessarily up to you. So I don't know. Seems kind of crummy
