My mom used to sleep for multiple nights in either a tent or the back of the minivan in line. For tickets for my dance recital, when I was younger and there were dozens of parents that did this. So she would sleep out for multiple nights to buy tickets. To see me perform in costumes that she paid hundreds of dollars on performing dances that I learned in classes that she spent thousands of dollars for Pretty crazy, but those parents will say that they have such memorable moments from the ticket sales.
