Dispatch

Shawn is nailing the issues with late night.

I've had to re-record this dispatch now twice, because each time I feel like I'm bringing a nuanced, take about the Steven Cobar thing, and then I hear Sean absolutely nailed my perspective on the audience and the amount of people behind it and you can do it with a smaller team example. And then just call Mike, you mentioned how Trump is kind of breaking Um, Network television a little bit like in that you've got to be partisan now. Um, The only thing I want to add is I look forward, this has been an idea. I've had for a really long time, big audience is going to hear this. I'm not personally going to do it, but I I look forward to younger people. People in their 20s and 30s. Doing their own spin on late night, whether it's through twitch or YouTube. I've seen it done a couple times and they failed Someone will figure it out. I'd love to be part of it. I probably won't, but someone's going to figure out how to do this better. And reviewing Tik tokers and YouTube people, people that are relevant to younger audiences. Um, And still having political. Comedy aspects without being. You know Trump is bad or or Biden whatever. Although he never really got a lot of slack. Um we got a lot of slack. That's the problem, right? I'm rambling. Anyways, I I, I just find it interesting. I, I thought maybe I had a unique perspective, but it seems like, maybe that's not the case, which is, which is kind of cool. Um, yeah. Look forward to Hopefully, something new. In the late night. Genre wiggle, wiggle pop up.
