As law enforcement, we're trying to stop the threat. Um, this guy was clearly a threat to this officer. And at the time that he was reaching for her gun, she should have pulled the trigger. Um, if somebody's going to reach for your gun, there's no telling what can be done. And at that time you can use deadly force. Um, however, at the time that he got his hand already on the gun, I believe she was unable to pull the trigger, given the fact that he had his hands wrapped around the slide of the gun, which at that point, it won't fire. Um, and everybody asked him why she wouldn't have just pulled her taser out after it's bringing a knife to a gunfight, you're not going to use less Force. Um if somebody has deadly force against you because you you risk the taser not working. Um, and then at that point, If they weren't going to shoot you before, they're going to now.
