It’s a subject I’ve left mostly alone, not because I’ve been told not to address it but because I’m hesitant to give airtime or blog space to a man who still calls Web traffic ‘hits‘ and has an unhealthy obsession with WGN Radio. Tonight, on the podcast, I’ll dive into the mud on this one. Stay tuned.

Some great analysis of the current cable media landscape from CJR today. I disagree with a few points (especially the bit about MSNBC offering a rainbow of opinons) but this quote is interesting:
From personal experience covering news around the world, you almost always run into a CNN crew or stringer. You almost never run into a Fox reporter, and never one from MSNBC.
Read the whole thing at CJR’s website.

I can’t decide if the Bloom Box is the greatest invention ever or if I’m a bit like an old lady being conned by a slimy auto mechanic. Regardless, you have to watch this video. [Video]

Next month, in Toronto, Canada, former Presidents Bush(43) and Clinton are going to take place in what is being called a ‘moderated “conversation” that is expected to last about two hours’.
Though Presidents generally refrain from anything too edgy when it comes to taking on ex-presidents, this is a little bit different. Bill Clinton has a vested interest in supporting the Obama administration with some ferver, his wife is the Secretary of…

DAKAR, Senegal — Former president Bill Clinton has been trying to keep his political opinions in check in order to turn back to his international work.
Still, he got a little testy in an interview Sunday with ABC’s Kate Snow, telling her he is “not a racist” even as he avoided delving into specifics about what happened in the Democratic presidential primary. The interview, taped in a quick stop in Liberia, will

Mr Obama is expected to speak to Mr Clinton for the first time since he won the nomination in the next few days, but campaign insiders say that the former president’s future campaign role is a “sticking point” in peace talks with Mrs Clinton’s aides.

At An Appearance In West Virginia, Bill Clinton Went Nuts:
What a jackass. Your wife’s campaign is in a free fall at the moment and she’s trying to go out after a victory in West Virginia, you’ve already ruined your reputation and the public support you held for so long has eroded completely and you do this? The icing on the cake for Obama’s campaign would be a Hail Mary victory in…

Clinton Says Barrack Obama Played The Race Card On Him:
The most interesting part of this interview is the last five seconds. As the conversation ends you can hear Bill Clinton continue talking to an unknown person. Thinking that the interview is over, Clinton says “I don’t think I should take any s#%t from anybody on that, do you.” Nice. Maybe next time you should hang up the phone before you continue digging yourself a hole, Bill.
