I don’t care all that much about golf but I do like a good story. John Daly has been known to smoke on the golf course and do all sorts of ridiculous things that I find hilarious. One time, a buddy of mine ran into Daly at a tournament in Augusta. Daly wasn’t even playing at the tournament but he was so short on cash that he was making the rounds and selling stuff. Seriously, there he was, John Daly walking around the parking lot in flip-flops and selling autographed photos and golf balls for a few bucks a piece. Best part? He was drinking cheap canned beer the entire time, with a six-pack attached to his belt. The guy is an anomaly in the golf world and I love him for it.
