OBAMA AMBULANCE UPDATE
Why did Obama react so quickly? Now we know…
The latest, after the cut…
Because the injured kid’s father was golfing with the President:
KAILUA (HawaiiNewsNow) – President Barack Obama abruptly ended a round of golf Monday morning and sped toward his family’s vacation home after sources say the child of family friend suffered minor injuries in a surfing mishap near the home. The father of the child was apparently on the golf course with the president when they received word of the accident.
A White House source described the child’s injury as a “run-of-the-mill beach injury” and said that the child would require stitches. The identity of the family friend and the child are not known at this time.
Makes a bit more sense now…
The father in this case was Eric Whitaker, friend of Obama. Whitaker’s son is doing fine after suffering a cut (which requires stitches) to the chin after a beach mishap.
