The question here isn’t whether or not Senator Baucus is hammered (I’m about 80% sure he’s half in the bag), the question is why did this video clip remain unnoticed for the better part of a week before anyone bothered to question his sobriety?
No, I do not think he is drunk. Watch the entire clip and you see how his voice calms down and is smooth. Also notice how the color shifts after Senator Wicker speaks. I also know of a few members who public speaking is worse.
I'm sorry to say this, but the only way we are going to get rid of these bast-ards is a full blown revolt. With a new descriptive constitution, that also holds the elected leaders responcible for their enacted laws. 65% of this country doesn't want them doing this to our healthcare. Under the new constitution this will be illegal. When the revolt happens they will all be tried in open court for treason and hanged for their crimes.
Does he have an “R” after his name?
If not, I'm not interested. I would rather work in bipartisan fashion.
But if he is a Republican then we should have the courage to slam him.
Why dont those Republicans want to work in bipartisan fashion for legislation that they dont like?
Lets bring home the troops and fight the real war against Republicans. Unity means submission…
That's how Max sounds most of the time. I don't think he's drunk…but I think something is seriously wrong with him, medically. He's gotten worse over time. A couple years ago he had some emergency surgery to relieve pressure on his brain some time after he was in a motorcycle accident where he sustained a head injury.
The MSM would never point it out unless it were a Repbulican, that's why.
Unbeleivable. It is amazing to me what the Republicans will stoop to. I am also from Montana and have heard Baucus talk MANY times. I admit, he is FAR from an eloquent speaker. He always seems to slur his words together in every speech I have ever seen him give….so what. This time…add PISSED to the equation and that's what you get. And I don't blame him!!! He is absolutely correct in his accusations and if it had been me, I would have lost my cool, with the “other side of the isle”, LONG before this! And if all you finger pointers would have listened to him in the past, you would have realized that. But it's obvious to me…..your republican senators are not listening and neither are you. PS….I'm slurring my words right now because I am so damn frustrated with the whole lot of you! How about “think about your country instead of yourself” for a change. Now that would be something to celebrate and have a drink for!
I agree! Sen. Baucus was PISSED to the gills. This man is a semi-functional alcoholic. who needs help….not democrat (and republican) enablers.
Head injury, now that splains it.
BREAKING NEWS: AT 4:35, HE IS PASSED A NOTE. ON THAT NOTE WERE THESE WORDS: “SHUT UP AND SIT DOWN BEFORE YOU ARE ARRESTED!”
At 4:35 Senator Baukus is passed a note. The exact words on that note are as follows: “Shut up and yield the floor before you are arrested.”
There is no doubt he is drunk, if a republican did this it would be played 24/7.
