Two weeks before her shocking Dec. 20 death, Brittany Murphy appeared skinnier than ever.

Wearing a short black dress by designer pal Tiffany Saidnia, the actress looked emaciated as she walked the red carpet Dec. 3 for the opening of Tt Collection’s Pop-Up shop in Los Angeles. One online blogger wrote that her dress “hung to her skin and bones frame.”

Radaronline says ‘overdose‘ is still an option:

While foul play has been initially dismissed as a factor in the death of Brittany Murphy and officials believe she died of natural causes, RadarOnline.com has confirmed that the Los Angeles Police Department is keeping their investigation open and now focusing on a possible overdose.

“We are keeping the investigation open until the toxicology reports are available in five to six weeks,” a senior LAPD source privy to the investigation told RadarOnline.com exclusively. “We are focusing on possible overdose scenarios including looking at prescription medicines.”

Britney Murphy left a will and reportedly left everything to her mother:

TMZ has learned Brittany Murphy had a will when she died — a will she executed before she met husband Simon Monjack.

Sources say the will left her estate to her mother, Sharon Murphy.

Also, her autopsy results are in and she appears ‘normal‘ in her final state:

TMZ has learned Brittany Murphy’s autopsy is complete. There were no signs of foul play, we’ve learned, and there was nothing that pointed to a cause of death. The cause of death has been “deferred” pending other tests.

Sources say the L.A. County Coroner will wait for the toxicology report, as well as the histopathology (study of her organs and tissues) and neuropathology (study of her brain).

This doesn’t mean Murphy didn’t die of an OD. We’ve got to wait for the toxicology report to determine that.
