Taliban Rebuffs ‘Lunatic’ Clinton Offer

Another blow to the idea that we can negotiate our way out of international gridlocks. You’ve got Iran and Venezuela mocking the President and the Taliban ‘moderates’ calling Hillary a loon. Oh the joys of the olive branch technique… here’s the report.

KABUL (Reuters) – Taliban insurgents reject a U.S. offer of “honorable reconciliation,” a top spokesman said on Wednesday, calling it a “lunatic idea” and saying the only way to end the war was to withdraw foreign troops.
