Graphic: Tracking The ‘Conficker’ Worm

‘Conficker’ has been a bust, to say the least. But the reason there is some interest in this particular worm is the spread of ‘Conficker’ is vast. Take a look at these maps showing infections around the globe.

So what’s going on? So far — nothing. Infected computers are generating the list of 50,000 domains and are attempting to contact 500 of those like we’ve described earlier, but so far no update has been made available (by the bad guys).

It certainly doesn’t look like this is the end for Conficker…
