Will Burris Take A Seat?

…watch for fireworks on the Senate floor around 10:30AM EST.

Update: Burris is making his way up the steps with a swarm of reporters in tow. CNN has cameras everywhere. I expect Roland Burris to be turned away because he was an incomplete certificate of appointment letter that has not been certified in the wake of the Governor Blagojevich scandal. Let’s see if Burris is content with watching TV in Harry Reid’s office. Also, there’s a presser on the way which should provide some great political theater.

Update: Burris is headed through the door to the ‘general appointments’ desk where the general public checks in to visit the Senate. Burris said he didn’t intend on ‘making a spectacle’… whoops.

Update: Burris actually managed to keep his mouth shut all the way into a closed-door meeting. Now, they will tell him to get the hell out and he will hold a ridiculous press conference outside…

Oh, the drama…

Update: Burris, as expected, has been refused entry to the Senate…
