What is the world going to do when they realize Obama is just a man.

And the left in this country seems to be pouring as much love on Obama as the hate they poured on Bush.
I think they have become bipolar.

This is going to be a very interesting 4 years.

This is absolutely ridiculous. How can you praise one MAN so much. Even if he holds the most powerful office in the world, he should not be praised this much. I am very very disappointed in the Prime Minister of Antigua & Barbuda, for taking away one of the oldest, most treasured heritage representation of Antigua and diminish it’s name like this. I pray to God that he reconsiders what he is doing!

It’s going to be an interesting 8 years. And I’m totally ready for Mount Obama, as well as Obama High School, as well as Obama Bridge, as well as Obama Expressway, as well as Obama Airport, as well as Obama Library, as well as the Bush cartoon library

As a fellow Antiguan Citizen having rendered my endorsement to Senator Obama, still, I was highly appalled when became conscious of the PM’s intentions to rename Boggy Peak.

Reflecting back on my childhood Boggy Peak is renowned for being the highest hill in Antigua, in print and is circulating in thousands of books and atlases around the region.

    What now?

Reading the Antigua Sun version Nov 7th 2008, it is evident the PM did not research or notified the Citizens before making such drastic decision. (SEE BELOW)

Even before the election was concluded “This Guy” endorsed Barack publicly.

What if Obama wasn’t successful in the election?
What if Obama denounce the kind offer of Antigua?
What if Obama doesn’t live up to his anticipated thriving attributes?

Such a drastic incentive and CNN, FOX or BCC doesn’t even recognize.

Antigua’s PM “Baldwin Spencer” needs to wake up!

Congrats to OBAMA..job well done… the PM need to realise he wont be as lucky as you sir in his upcoming election. there are much more important issues that he should be concentrating on e.g. the drainage system in Grays farm/ green bay area….

  7. i am from antigua..... really...... i am

i just want to say that pm spencer made this decision entirely on his own. it was announced the day after the election.can you imagine? not even a ‘i’m doing this’ to us citizens. well, let me tell you, elections are on there way here so……… that’s 1 thing against mr. pm.

barack obama is my hero but he is only human. besides, what can he do for antigua? does he even know where it is exactly?

if you want to rename a land feature, name it after mandela, he is a president too. long before anyone even knew thatobama existed. i mean come on. not even to say pm named it after someone in the caribbean. please. just ridiculous1 :(
