Update: McCain Staffer Mutilated?
“This is what she’s telling police,” police spokeswoman Diane Richard said. “We can’t substantiate it at this time.”
Police are checking video footage from a bank surveillance camera.
For those of you wondering about the video footage, the quotes above should shed light on what’s happening behind the scenes. Also, the Obama campaign is quick to react…

McCain Camp: “We’re shaken by this, it’s disturbing”. Governor Palin spoke to the victim by phone.
Police are still reviewing video and contemplating a hate crime in this case.
“He continued to kick and punch her repeatedly and said he would teach her a lesson for supporting John McCain,” said police Chief Nate Harper.
The man then carved the “B” into Todd’s right cheek. Todd, who isn’t familiar with the area, drove to a friend’s house nearby and told her friend she wasn’t sure of the exact location where the robbery took place but remembered a green sign above the ATM. The friend called police and the officer met them on Cypress Street in Bloomfield, police said.
Todd’s friend offered to drive her back in the direction she came from to look at ATMs until she found the right one, police said. A police officer followed until Todd pointed out a Citizens Bank ATM at Liberty and Pearl, police said.

It will be interesting to see if this turns out to be legit (since the tape will show what happened). If it is … expect some backlash as people are going to worry about “Is this what we can expect if BHO is elected?”

B – How does the mugger know the car with the McCain sticker
is her car.
C – Shes beaten and the letter “B” is carved into her
face and yet she declines medical treatment.
Theres more to this story then she’s saying.
Let’s see how this whole thing plays out… but you should find it interesting that the media ignored this story entirely until they could run with the ’she faked it’ mantra.
