Palin Hacker Served Search Warrant

The FBI is stepping up its investigation into the possibility that a University of Tennessee student hacked into the personal e-mail of Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin.

A person who identified himself as a witness tells 10 News that agents with the FBI served a federal search warrant at the Fort Sanders residence of David Kernell early Sunday morning. Kernell lives in the Commons apartment complex at 1115 Highland Ave.

David Kernell is the son of Mike Kernell, a Democratic state representative from Memphis.
A Department of Justice spokesperson confirmed there has been “investigatory activity” in Knoxville regarding the Palin case, but she said there are no publicly available search warrants, and no charges have been filed.

According to the witness, several agents arrived at The Commons of Knoxville around midnight.

They presented their badges upon entering Kernell’s apartment, where several students were having a party, and took down their names.

The witness tells us they asked him and those who did not live in the unit to go outside. He believes the investigators took about 1.5 to 2 hours taking pictures of everything inside the apartment.

He knows damn well he’s a suspect in the hacking of a Vice Presidential candidates private email account, his father is a Democratic congressman and he’s having a freaking house party?

  1. America Lover

    Shawn,
They were probably having a party, selling beer to underage college students to help pay for Davids future lawyer costs.
Or he was having one last party as a free boy before he started partying with Bubba in the crossbar motel.

Yeah breaking into Palin’s email account was really unethical of him. Just like a Democrat, invading people’s privacy.

It appears at this time that highly placed officials in the
U.S. government staged an attack killing nearly three thousand Americans to justify legislation allowing the government to hack into anything, and enter and search everywhere, even secretly, under the Patriot Act, along with starting a land war in South Asia, which likely had a corollary intent of destroying the U.S. economy to justify (already created via the “Prosperity and Partnership” Agreement)the North American Union, which would bury our constitutional government forever and replace it with a fascist dictatorship. The perpetrators claim to be Christians and patriots, and that elections are not routinely stolen, so they must be OK. The Senators who were blocking this Patriot Act were the main targets of the anthrax attacks, the purported perpetrator of which conveniently committed suicide. He had no access to anthrax at any time, but, case closed. He must have really supported the patriot act.

That the now unnecessary warrants were used was just a nice little touch to help people forget what has happened to their constitutional protections, and carefully mentioned in all the news releases for exactly that purpose.

Thanks, Buckley. As usual, your comment is on topic, well written and completely rational.

Sarah should have submitted the email as the investigation requested. This hacker is a hero, taking justice into his own hands. Meanwhile Todd can ignore a subpeona, the same way all the Bushies ignore subpeona’s. the Palin/McCain campaign looks more and more like another Bush Badministration

Huh, by your standards, I guess that makes Linda Tripp a hero too. Probably even more so, because she actually had evidence of wrongdoing whereas this punk just got a hold of innocent emails and family photos.
